Unfortunately the final score stayed 14-12. However, this was a promising start against a very good team.

The second game saw the team play against a very organized TKS team. The game ebbed and flowed with JPGS taking a 4 point lead, then TKS scored 8 unanswered points to take the lead 8-4. JPGS then scored 8 points to take the lead 12-8. Unfortunately, once again JPGS went to sleep to go into half time at 12-12. The final half of 15 minutes was very edgy for both teams with JPGS running out of time and losing the game 19-17.

The final game saw the team compete against a very physical and determined Dar Jana School. Dar Jana had previously been beaten by one point against BISJ so they were fired up. Dar Jana started the game more positively than JPGS and they found themselves 8-0 up after 2 minutes. This deficit was very hard to get back, however a forced timeout and a change in formation solidified the defense and woke JPGS up in offence. At half time JPGS were down 15-4. Mini targets were set at half time and throughout the 2nd half we achieved them. With the change and the target setting, JPGS reached double figures and won the 2nd half, finishing the game strongly. However, Dar Jana finished winners 24-11.

A beneficial, long and good day was had by all.
