Under 16 Boys SAIKAC @ KAUST

 Game 1: JPGS V AISJ

U16 SAIKAC 300x226After an early start, we arrived at KAUST, very enthusiastic about the challenge ahead.

The first game  of the tournament  was against a much fancied AISJ team who finished 4th in the previous weeks U19 football tournament. JPGS started the game brightly and a quick throw out from Daniyal Mirza enticed a foul on Hazem Gamil. Hazem took the free kick himself and Saeid headed JPGS into an early lead after only two minutes.

The game was end-to-end, with both teams playing attacking football.

Strong defence from both Rayan B and Obaid, led to a well constructed counter attack and a foul in penalty area allowed Mukhlis to a spot kick, enabling JPGS to take the lead to 2-0 after eight minutes

Shortly afterwards after Great work by Saeid down the left, who beat his marker and crossed a great ball across the box, Mukhlis got in front of his marker and hit the post in a great attack.
